Two Million Gallon Well Brought in at San Antonio Plant

T H Little brought in a 2 000 000 gallon per day artesian well at the San Antonio Gas and Electric plant on Concepcion road and Grove avenue. The eight inch pipe carries water 15 inches above the top, with drilling taking fourteen days and plans to sink a 15 inch well nearby. Superintendent Cushman hails the strike as a major water source for boilers and city offices, while earlier flows reached a million gallons after 1000 feet.
