Police Asked to Recover Angora from Delgado Street Home
Police were asked Saturday to help recover a white Angora cat taken from the White home at 1054 Delgado Street. A tear of valuables was stolen from the front of a Mens Wear store at 226 North St. Marys. Frank Huck reported. Theft of $6 and some keys from an upstairs room at C. H. Carroll’s home, 413 East Locus Street, was also reported.

Book overdue to Yeans back at public library
John J. Mapp 69 Yellow Stone Street had a book overdue at the public library Saturday. It was about 3 years overdue with fines estimated around 420.50. Mapp, a disabled Spanish American War veteran and chairman of the fourteenth district National Child Welfare committee, is also a Boer War and World War veteran. The book, a memoir by Johann Gottlieb Fienle, reportedly influenced a member of his unit to commit suicide in the Philippines. The library waived the fine and returned the book, which contained a photo of Mapp as a young man and pressed flowers from 30 years ago.

The annual mid winter gathering of the San Anisnlo district Texas State Dental Society ended at the Plaza hotel after a two day program. Dental clinical conferences were led by Dr. C R Lawrence of Enid Oklahoma Dr Wilfred H Terrell of Pasadena California and Dr Robert T Dement of Atlanta Georgia A Friday banquet featured Dr W B Russ as the principal speaker with about 150 delegates in attendance.

Woman Educator Juliett Perce Dies at 87 in San Pedro
Miss Juliett Perce an 87 year old educator and University of Town graduate died of a heart attack today in San Pedro California. She addressed the San Pedro Rotary club earlier and had long served in the Los Angeles and San Pedro educational departments since 1917.
