James Galdi was sentenced to 10 years by a Dallas Criminal District Court jury for shooting Mildred Turner in a downtown cafe on November 21. He claimed the girl threatened him if he did not pay $75 she claimed he owed.
Charles Leonard Harvey, held in the Dallas Jail for alleged auto theft in San Antonio, was to be brought back Friday by Deputy Sheriff Frank Matthews and Detective B. Cantu. Harvey is accused of taking a car owned by George Parker of Beeville from in front of the St. Anthony hotel.
