Poultry Judge Mrs Cosgrove Acknowledged in Texas
Mrs Qiara S Cosgrove of San Antonio is the only woman poultry judge in Texas and one of three in the United States licensed by the American Poultry Association. She earned her license on November 27, 1924 with a 96 mark, has seven years of experience, and is in her third year judging at Lone Star Poultry shows. Florence Fords of Mobile also attended San Antonio as a visiting licensed judge.

Washington January 8 Senate approved the Underwood private operation bill as a substitute for the Norris government plan to resolve Muscle Shoals.
