Miss Eunice Parten a 16 year old from Midway Texas was last seen at a Huntsville boarding house after traveling with the Midway basketball team to a game with Huntsville Normal. Friends and peace officers statewide sought help locating her after she told her cousin she planned to return with a man named Riles.

Nine Passengers Robbed by Train Robbers
Nine passengers and two crew members were lined up in a locked sleeping car on the New York Central Western Express between Chesterton Indiana and Gary Indiana last night. Two men armed with a sawed off shotgun and an automatic pistol robbed them of money and jewelry valued at several hundred dollars before dropping off the train in Gary yards.
