Laredo Begins Annual Celebration in 1898 Style
Clarence Laro che recounts Laredo Texas celebrating the 1898 Washingtons Birthday with a four day program. Indians Pocahontas and Washingtons era pageantry, Colonial Ball, Mexican and U S officials meetings, grand parade and State officials attendance in a border city fusion of Old West and Colonial America. Event features include a gala parade, debutantes, matadors from Nueva Laredo, and a government visit by Gov. Connally party with a Thunderbird demonstration at Laredo Air Force Base.
