Juan Perez 21 of 2122 South Laredo Street is hospitalized at Rob ert B. Green Memorial with a bullet wound to the face after a 38 caliber pistol shot. A 23 year old woman is jailed on a charge of aggravated murder related to a dispute at a Division Street house. She says self defense. Detectives Ruhnke Guerra and officer Trevino handled the case after a late Friday night call. Perez suffered a bullet wound just right of the nose. left jaw bone damaged. Thirteen heavily loaded freight cars broke loose during switch work near the asylum at 7 45 am Saturday. Vel. 16. X Barron, about 35, was found dead on his wife’s grave in a Texas cemetery after taking poison overnight. Mrs. Barron died last summer.
