Four dead and about fifty injured in a Chicago Burlington and Quincy train wreck at Cromwell Iowa after a broken rail sent the No 12 train into a sixty foot embankment. Passengers clad in night clothes endured subzero temperatures waiting for relief. deaths include Mrs John Sash and others from Creston Omaha Menah and Eagle. The seriously injured were transported to Creston hospital as crews worked to free survivors.
