Christmas Cheer San Antonio Aid Effort Faces Shortage
The Christmas Cheer organization in San Antonio reports limited funds and dwindling supplies as volunteers pack baskets for about 6600 families. With under $1000 raised, they struggle to provide groceries, clothing, and warmth for those in need while other charities coordinate lists of over 200 cases to assist. Ex-soldiers and volunteers continue to assist, but demand exceeds available resources as deliveries to distributing centers proceed Friday and Saturday.
