Japanese student in Wisconsin tours the South

Shige Obata a Japanese senior at the University of Wisconsin has toured varied parts of the country studying social conditions. He arrived in San Antonio today and will stay at the Y M C A until Christmas planning to visit several schools before returning to Wisconsin for the February term. Obata aims to study as much as possible then return to Japan to work with the poorer classes to improve social conditions.
