Neff Names Four Appointees for Texas Administration
Governor elect Pat Neff announced four state officers to serve under his administration. Joseph S. Myers of Bar Worth becomes labor commissioner. Major Thomas D Barton of Amarillo is named adjutant general. Judge Boll Hamilton of Port Lavaca will be assistant attorney general. Walthall of Nacogdoches is Neff's private secretary. Neff expects more selections soon, aiming for swift appointments to avoid applicant rush.
