Twice a Week Crime Trials Begin in January
Assistant District Attorney Harvey Hardy announced that starting January 1 criminal district court will hold trials twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays instead of only Mondays. The tentative 40 percent jury-fund increase aims to support the semi weekly sessions, with 33 cases already set for the first two weeks. If a case overruns the allotted time, Judge G Tayloe’s Forty fifth District list can be utilized.
