FULTZ DECRIES REPORTS ON FEDERAL LEAGUE CONTRACTS
President David L. Fultz of the Baseball Players Fraternity issued a statement denouncing reports that many major league players had signed 1914 contracts with Federal League clubs. He said 85 percent of players in the four major leagues would not sign until contracts satisfactory to the fraternity are obtained and warned that any signings now could lead to expulsion. He added the Federal League contract being reviewed next week should meet their requests, and no obstacles will be placed if players deem the move wise.
