Barbers Not Guilty In Sunday Closing Case
Two San Antonio barbers and several others were found not guilty in Justice Campbell's court yesterday after being charged with violating the Sunday law by keeping open shops and shaving patrons. Five other barbers face hearings next Sunday as the Warren case was dismissed, with Warren shown as a hotel employee. The Sunday closing feature does not make it unlawful for hotel employees to shave patrons on Sunday, and Lee Johnson’s case was dismissed after it was shown he shaved no one.
