San Antonio Schools Face $100000 Gap in 1941 42 Budget

E H Kifer, business manager of the San Antonio Public School district, reports estimated revenues of about 2.716 million against a tentative budget of 2.215 million. The plan includes 40 thousand for teacher pay boosts but omits 20 thousand for three day sick leave restoration. A deficit of 69 thousand is projected without back tax collections, largely due to back taxes and a $10 million reduction in assessed valuation.
