Rains drenched much of Texas with several inches in places. Cross Plains and Wichita Falls region reported significant totals while the northwest quarter benefited crops. Two inches fell near Cross Plains. Lubbock area saw up to 1.45 inches. A fire destroyed a Continental Pipe Line crude oil tank north of Wichita Falls amid the storm. Dome in auto kills couple near Cleveland
