Pilot Henry J Brown and navigator say current leg shows potential to shave six days from Zeppelin’s 21 day 6 hour record. Next leg 1900 miles to Baldonnel Ireland across North Atlantic.
Illinois may vote in November on a three question referendum. Bernard W. Snow, head of the Gees County GOP, said about 1,050,000 signatures were gathered to place the issues on the ballot. The questions include amending the eighteenth amendment, modifying the Volstead Act for beverage production, and repealing the Seamen and Setz ure Act.
