Greater Dry Force Sought by Prohibition Chief
WASHINGTON August 1. Amos W. AW. Wauiberk director of prohibition will ask Congress for a 25 percent enlargement of forces to 12 regional administrators. James J. Doran chief of the Bureau of Industrial Schools will seek an increase. The Wooldrwerk decision is not a cry of despair. He believes personnel rising from 20 to about fifty thousand will sustain enforcement and intensify the drive against large scale violators.
