Culberson Seen as Hope for Democratic Victory in 1908

Washington April 28 A statement by Representative Pujo of Louisiana urges Culberson of Texas as the Democratic nominee for the presidency. He says the South should seize the Denver convention to back a thoroughly Democratic platform. He adds Bryan supporters would back Culberson from nomination to election.
