Liberty Loan Holiday Proclaimed for City Employes
Mayor Bell and the city council declared Friday afternoon a holiday for all city employees to aid in soliciting for the Liberty Loan. The move follows proclamations by President Wilson and Governor Hobby designating Friday as Liberty Loan Day. Commissioner Heuermann noted hearing postponement on Soledad Street paving to May 13 due to data preparation limits.
