Bandit nabbed after Alamo street chase in San Antonio

A bandit pursuing a victim into the Alamo street area was captured by bystanders and police on Thursday. Robert Cook of 330 East Lambert Street reported the encounter near Commerce and Navarro Streets, as the robber fled through the Black Cat cafe at 110 South Alamo Street. Four local residents restrained him, and officers searched for a discarded weapon while noting the bandit appeared unarmed. The incident occurred late Wednesday night and remains under investigation.

Highway Flower Show Set Saturday by TX Highway Dept

Division 15 of the Texas highway department will stage a wild flower show at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Witte museum. Mrs Yvonne Nellamay Berry seeks divorce from Virgil Edward Berry in a Thirty seventh District Court before Judge Harry L Howard alleging cruel treatment and extreme distress that made living together insupportable.
