The group once sang behind a doorway in Brooklyn while assembling harmonies for stage hands at the New York Paramount earning under twenty dollars weekly. Other notes cite Kay Kyser band ties, Vener Kyser organization roles, Evelyn's luck in supplying vegetation charms, and local acts including Arthur Pyterck in Chicago and Evelyn Sinclair returning from Reynosa.
