Gonzales county residents have pledged about 75000 in cash and land, while the Interurban Townsite and Land Company organizes with 50000 capital to market Oak Forest, Monthalia and Willow Springs townsites.

Vinegar Adulteration Probe and Local Thefts Reported
Early Monday afternoon a U S District Attorney announced actions against two vinegar consignments for adulteration under the pure food act and seizure for condemnation. Police reported three thefts Saturday night including pin cushions, underwear, silk braid, a tire and rim, and sugar from a box car in the Sap yards.
