Birmingham Judge Rules Boss Could Not Fire Chatty Worker
In Birmingham England an industrial court ordered Ivan Hadley manager of a chemical warehouse to pay Mrs Funice Weaver 364.56 severance after dismissing her for excessive chatting. Weaver admitted a chatty nature but claimed bias as a bachelor seeking fewer women coworkers. Her husband quipped they would buy a silencer with the payout.
