Peanut butter sparks debate in editorial page exchange
A reprinted Orlando Sentinel Star editorial praising peanut butter prompts a San Antonio reader to share personal dislike and health notes. The writer cites nutrition data from Dr Karl Matti at Texas A&M and comments by William G Conway of Wilco Peanut Co on promoting peanut butter. Texas peanut production and varieties are noted, with Carver’s legacy and a range of peanut based recipes mentioned.
