Soledad Street Paving Suit Arguments Focus on Alleged Favoritism
In an injunction hearing Jules Appler versus the City of San Antonio the issues center on alleged favoritism and possible breach of trust in awarding the Soledad Street paving contract. Judge Tayloe ruled the case rests on whether city officials acted in good faith amid competing bids from Texas Billithic and Uvalde Rock Asphalt, with tests reportedly showing near identical material performance.
