Corporal A A Arrachvon of company C twenty second infantry was attacked by three highwaymen in an alley off Main avenue at about 1 am. He knocked one down with a club and escaped, later recovering a bicycle left at the scene and handing it to Patrolman Yantis. The assailants fled and no arrests were made. Arrachvon described them as white men in dark clothes with dark hats.
