Bank Robberies Spark Texas Winter Crime Wave

A gun battle with city detectives wounded two yeggmen and captured two others within 60 miles of San Antonio. Two robberies, at Bandera and Karnes City, yielded no loot. A wounded suspect was arrested on Alamo Plaza, neck wound from buckshot. Police, sheriff and posse hunted the robbers through brush and ruins.

Marshal Foch to Visit San Antonio for Historic Alamo Reception

San Antonio readies for Marshal Ferdinand Foch French generalissimo and Allied commander in chief during WWI as crowds gather. Parade Route and Official Program for Foch Visit
