Chesapeake and Atlantic rail and water lines report deficits

Richard Cot Bunked by Daretents Political. The Chesapeake and Atlantic Railway Company shows a 1933 deficit of 290,676 with 171,621 more in operating expenses than 1922. Water line costs rose, maintenance, wharf repairs, and erratic water line terminals increased expenses as seven lines operated out of Baltimore with 884 miles. Discontinued lines include Pocomo River and Chester River lines. Dean City to Claiborne rail covers 87.41 miles. Neel W Smith named assistant to the General Manager.
