Laurel Bethel Camp Completes Fine Program in Delmarva
The Nel Mar Via Camp at Moore's Grove north of Laurel features a large program led by Dr Clarence Neal and Dr George E E Cooke. On opening day August 16 services include addresses on church vows and beliefs. Week one hosts delegates and lectures with musical acts and an auction sale of children. Week two plans include national themes and the final Sunday sermons.

Hagerstown Banker Burned Trying to Save Motorist
Chas S Lane a well known Hagerstown banker was badly burned on the head and hands when his touring car caught fire near the Hagerstown Country Club. He tried to remove gasoline from the tank to aid a fellow motorist but the blaze started from an unknown cause. The car burned to a total wreck except the engine.
