Worker Falls From Scaffold at Quarry Roof
Peter Miller of Louisville fell from a scaffold while roofing the new building at the rock quarry. He broke both wrists and sustained other bruises. He was taken to town by carriage, doctors Henderson and Paynter reset the fractures and he rested comparatively easy at press time.

Timber Culture Association Chooses Agent for Kansas Lands
At a Saturday meeting held at Dr. Lanning office L O Saltmarsh was named agent to oversee Timber claims in Kansas for association members. If he cannot go March 5 R B Mitchell is the alternate. A committee of Jamison Welker and Mitchell will instruct the agent and report at the March 6 gathering. Members must hand in land descriptions for printing in the constitution and by laws.
