St Johns residents heard city officials discuss a proposed sewer system to support a new high school and the planned St Johns park. Assistant to Commissioner Barbur outlined trunk sewer costs and timing, while school and parks officials stressed continued development and community facilities.
A Community Club discussion centered on Oswego street sewer plans. S. C. Cook argues the project is a purely local burden unrelated to the high school or Pier Park, urging delay until city liens are paid and buyers who financed homes can handle costs.
