Death of Mrs Balch in St Johns at 58
Mrs Clara J Balch died at her father H Goddard’s home 718 East Richmond Street on Saturday November 24 aged about 58 after a five month stomach cancer illness. Known as Mother Balch she had many relatives across the United States. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 pm at Miller Tracey parlors with Rev McCloud officiating. burial followed at Columbia cemetery.
