William Andrew Kempy born December 13 1835 in Baltimore county Maryland died at his home in St Johns Multnomah Corners Ind at age 16 after uniting with the M E church and remaining faithful He was licensed to Dee 24 In wis came to Oregon where he first did ministry and served several charges as supply and was ordained deacon at Albany in 1893 He was noted as a successful soul winner and his Civil War service is briefly noted despite broken text
