A Brilliant Wedding in St Johns
One of the most elaborate weddings ever held in St Johns occurred last Sunday evening when Estella Mae Armstrong, eldest daughter of Mrs Loretta Armstrong, wed George H Malin at the home of Mr and Mrs Philip Smith. The parlors were beautifully arranged. Bradley recently opened a butcher shop in the French block and has fitted it up finely, offering convenient trade for south St Johns residents by avoiding a long trip downtown. Maggie Mullen, niece of Mrs B J Ward of Seattle, visited St Johns on Saturday and Sunday.

The 27 berries were unusually large, some protruding above the box, and the editor notes the berries came from vines that yielded five good crops last year. Smith asserts this season offers his heaviest crop yet, aided by prior yields.
