Former Resident Schelter Killed Working on McMinnville House

Former McMinnville contractor and St Johns resident Schelter was instantly killed when a scaffold collapsed at the A. L. Powell house near Sheridan road in College Side. He fell 18 feet, hitting a cross beam. his neck was broken and his head split. He leaves a wife and four children. His assistant McFarland suffered minor injuries.
