Groundbreaking for Hi Point Acres Church of God was Aug 25 with Rev. Kenneth E. Shook as pastor. Construction on the new x 84 edition adds a sanctuary, classrooms, and remodeling of the existing building includes pastor's study, office, kitchen, and fellowship hall. Estimated cost around $20,000 funded by donated labor. Clifford Mustion and Pastor Shook supervise with a goal to finish by early 1964.
