Fort Zumwalt High peer counseling grows from student idea
Fort Zumwalt students Ron Riley and Gene Kishing lead a peer counseling program started about a year ago by junior class counselor Jane Donovan. The initiative began when Kishing proposed a counseling program after reading about similar efforts at other schools. The program engages students like Riley, son of District Superintendent Dr. Dean Riley, to help peers assist themselves.
