Cheaper Long Distance Rates Approved by Commission

Missouri Public Service Commission approved lower rates for customer dialed long distance calls. The new schedule cuts one minute calls by 46 to 57 percent and two minute calls by 10 to 40 percent, with smaller reductions on other durations. The change applies to station to station and operator assisted calls in non direct dialing areas to help customers avoid paying for unnecessary three minute blocks. The commission cited logical savings for subscribers and noted most short calls will benefit, while some longer calls see modest cuts.

Missouri Senior Tax Credit Reminder Issued by Director Spradling
