State School Open House and 1974 Graduation Exercises
The faculty of State School No 7 for Retarded Children announces an annual Open House and 1974 graduation on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Friedens Church Fellowship Hall St. Charles. Steven B. Pipes Ti Montoro O Fulluc and Charles B. Knapp will be honored as the 1974 graduates. Past graduates, faculty, parents and friends are invited to attend various events through Friday at multiple local venues including First Capitol and St. Peters area halls and clubs.

Lindenwood Fund Drive Enters Mail Phase
Lindenwood College Community Support Campaign tops 718000 as it moves into the mail phase. Campaign chief Tor Smith cites increased interest and a $1200 matching gift from First National Bank of St. Charles helping surpass 1973 totals. The drive relies on door to door contact and volunteers held a luncheon where two thirds reported their donations. May Arts and Crafts program planned at St. Charles Library for children 15 and under runs 6:30 to 8 PM in the Head Office Children’s Room. Zion Lutheran Church Harvester hosts Parent Teacher League paper drive this weekend with pickup options and phone contacts.
