Green Berets Plan Simulated Lewis and Clark Expedition

Green Berets will reenact the Lewis and Clark journey starting Friday. Two 2-man teams will travel 3300 miles by boat and foot, with air drops, spanning multiple phases across Missouri, Idaho, and Montana, to simulate expedition challenges and training for mountain, river, and survival skills.

Missouri Edison Rate Hike Hearing Set for June 4

Missouri Edison proposes a 16 percent average rate increase with a 90 cent minimum charge rising to 2.50 and fuel coasts adjustment. Hearings are scheduled for 10am in Jefferson City before the Missouri Public Service Commission for customers in St. Charles Warren Lincoln Pike and Montgomery counties. Intervenors must file by May 25 and may present testimony later. those not intervening should contact PSC counsel Jeremiah Finnegan. Ontario mines produce 79 percent of the world's picks.
