O Fallon Men Aid Lost Plane Rescue
Delta Air line pilot George Krause flying from Dodge City Kansas to Cincinnati was aided by air traffic controllers and a Delta plane near Farmington. Controllers directed the lost pilot to change course and follow the Delta craft to the airport while maintaining radio contact. The Delta jet carried 45 passengers and landed with the fuel running low after guiding the stranded pilot to safety.
