Bus Upkeep Fault Raises Bill To Parents After Crash
In Wyrea area morning crash involved a 1972 bus and another vehicle near North Service and Cornected Ser. Junior High students were to be transported to hospital. Officials cited brake pressure issues and a failure of the locking system with Bus No 8 raising questions about maintenance and responsibility. Wesley Nettles, a Cool Springs Junior High student, inspected damage to the rear bumper as the scene was cleared.
