The Islands of Hawaii provide the backdrop for this year’s annual Showcase by Chaminade College Prep Mothers' Club and students. The event runs Friday and Saturday March 15 and 16 at 8 p.m. at the gym door tickets are sold. Mrs James A Baer and Fuller are among the models.
The St Charles County YMCA approved the 1968 Day Camp budget at a Feb 22 meeting at Williams Memorial Methodist Church in O’Fallon. Day Camp operated eight weeks at McNair Park in St Charles with 178 campers last year and plans a 30 percent enrollment increase for 1968. Rodger Taylor returns as Camp Director. staff will include senior and junior counselors. A candy sale program will help campers pay fees, as in Northwest County Branch YMCA. Camp fee set at 16 dollars per child for first graders and up in elementary schools across St Charles County.
