Carmichael Former County Agent Dies in Odessa
Funeral services set for John Carmichael 63 a longtime Missouri Extension agent born Odessa October 15 1903. He retired after 33 years with the Extension Service including 18 years in Hayes County later worked as a real estate salesman in St Charles. Survived by son Thomas M Carmichael Champaign Illinois daughter Mrs David Bramiley St Charles two brothers James W and Jack two sisters Mrs Homer Rylani four grandchildren and wife Gladys Powell Carmichael. Funeral at Husman Sparks Odessa with interment in Odessa Cemetery.

The Friedens Community Extension Club hosts a program on What's New to Ford Preparation led by Mrs. ihe Cupright for Mrs. Lous Kohrs with activities on February 16. Members vote to donate to the Hoone Center Workshop and the PISH organization, with the March 15 meeting at Mrs. stating's home at 1 a.m. A furnace-resrocan event is announced, with many members listed by name across juniors sophomores and others.
