City official seeks ruling on holding two offices
An opinion on whether an elected city official can serve on the Charter Commission is sought as filing deadline nears. Fifth Ward Councilman George Sturman filed as a candidate for the commission subject to the April 4 election. If elected he would hold two offices. City Attorney Poschert could not answer.
