Airport planning options near St Louis and nearby towns
A garbled 19th century style discussion evaluates airport sensibility and bridge links from St Louis to Ste Charles and St Charles parish areas. Proposals include a bridge between Halle Farry Road and Black Walnut Creek, plus a ferry road to shorten access from Washington Street, aiming to channel 7 percent of air traffic downtown while creating a buffer zone around Smart Field with an estimated 5 090 acres. Officials review cost, population density, and land use impacts, with final fuel reports pending.
