The health institute reports June as the healthiest month of the year with 1.125 million employees absent on an average day due to illness. In a typical week 622 thousand workers were out five days or more, while 774 thousand were absent less than a full week. February is labeled the sickest month.
Summer school will run six weeks starting June 17 at St Char Len High and Bexton School. Registration runs June 10 14 with a five day per week two hour daily schedule and a five dollar fee. Courses include American History World History English Math Biology typing driver education and more for high school and junior high students.
