Girl Scout Troop 133 Camps and Award Ceremony Highlight Summer
A letter details Troop 133 in town with 27 scouts and Troop 181 led by Mrs. Ruth Mueller and Mrs. Maggie Gross. Girls earned badges, toured the courthouse, prepared Christmas flowers, and hosted a Mothers Day event. They camped at Camp Charcen, victorious in a chaotic scramble to organize transport, food, gear, and leadership with Mrs. De Sherita and Mrs. Taylor assisting. The camp featured hikes, snipe hunts, campfire songs, and a flag ceremony, concluding with praise for Ruthie Taylor and Pat Ham.
