Bond issues eyed for St Charles recreation growth
St Charles plans a series of bonds to fund expansion of parks and waterworks including a $140,000 water system bond and an $80,000 park bond to acquire 1 additional acres at Meier Park. The measures would raise roughly 9 cents per $100 of assessed valuation over 15 years for bond retirement.
